I'm Kathleen Hayes (she/her/hers): Chicagoan, native Midwesterner, straight shooter, writer, journalist, educator, public school parent and advocate.

I’ve spent most of my professional life in complex systems (public schools, higher education). My dissertation research examined how individuals navigate this complexity in their individual and collective work.
